The Read List

The Read List is back for 2021-2022!

Summer is a great time to enjoy a good book! Glenelg Libraries have put together a list of 10 great stories by Australian authors covering a range of genres, to get you through the summer with plenty of thrills and entertainment.

There's a new book by Tricia Stringer, set a small Australian fishing town of Wallaby Bay and some fantastic new thrillers from Chris Hammer, Sally Hepworth and Margaret Hickey. A short story collection by award winning indigenous writer Tony Birch, a thought-provoking introspection from the raucously funny and deeply moving author Brendan Cowell, a joyful, fun and insightful debut from author Jacqui Byron, and some wonderful stories from real life in Australia, by Paul Kennedy, Lisa Millar, and Greg Mullins. So there’s something for everyone.
