How to use Hoopla

Using Hoopla, Glenelg Libraries members can borrow audiobooks, eBooks, comics, movies, TV shows, magazines, or music — all for free. Hoopla can be used on computers, mobile phones, tablets, or even in your car or on your TV. Hoopla syncs across all of your devices, so you can stream titles immediately or whenever you're in the mood.

Follow the steps below to get started. If you get stuck, give us a call on 5522 2265 or visit a library branch for some help.

Step 1.Visit Hoopla

 

Step 2.Find Your Library

  • Search for and select "Glenelg Libraries"
  • Click Next

 

Step 3.Enter Your Membership Details

  • Enter your library card number (including the C at the beginning and the D at the end)
  • Enter your PIN number.
    • If you've forgotten your PIN, give us a call on 5522 2265. Alternatively, if you gave us your email address when you became a member, you can reset your own PIN by visiting our catalogue, clicking "My Account", then clicking "Forgot your PIN?"
  • Click Next

 

Step 4.Enter Your Email and Choose a Password

  • Enter the email address you would like to use for communications with Hoopla
  • Select a password between 8 and 40 characters long
  • Click Complete Registration
