FREE Sanitary Products Now Available

Pads and tampons aren't a luxury. They are essential to health and wellbeing. Victorians should be able to access them whenever and wherever they need to. That’s why the Victorian Government is making free pads and tampons available across the state.

Glenelg Libraries are participating in the Free Pads & Tampons program.  You can now find Free Pads & Tampons vending machines at our Portland, Heywood and Casterton Libraries.

Products are dispensed in ‘packs’, allowing users to access ‘one for now and at least one for later’. The machines feature a time-out period, to ensure fair access, prevent excessive sampling, and allow everyone to access products when they need them.
