In today’s digital landscape, the lines between gaming and gambling are increasingly blurred, posing new challenges for young people. Features like ‘loot boxes’ mechanics in video games introduce elements of chance that closely resemble gambling. These features can lead to significant health, financial, and social consequences.

This free workshop aims to equip parents and carers with the knowledge and tools to understand and address these emerging issues. By fostering open conversations and awareness, we can work together to minimise potential harms associated with underage gambling.
You will hear from a ReSPIN speaker sharing their lived experience with gambling addiction. The session will be facilitated by MELI as part of Gambling Harm Awareness Week.

This is a judgement-free session and everyone is welcome to attend.
Support services will be available on the night.

No bookings are required.
