Hooked on Christmas!

Glenelg Libraries is stitching together a Christmas tree made of granny squares, and we need your help! 

The tree will be made of 6x6-inch squares, crocheted or knitted using DK/8-ply acrylic yarn and a size 5 crochet hook.

After the tree has gone on display, the squares will be made into blankets and donated to those in need. 

Keen to contribute? Drop into the Portland Library and hook in our cosy nook (Thursday nights are already proving popular!) or stitch up a storm at home and bring us your squares! 

We'll be accepting squares until the end of September.
