Libraries After Dark Author Event: Adam McNicol, The Western District

Glenelg Libraries is delighted to welcome Ballarat-based journalist and author Adam McNicol to celebrate the release of the latest book from Ten Bag Press, The Western District: A journey through south-west Victoria.

McNicol, founder of Ten Bag Press and author of several regional histories including The Mallee and The Wimmera, will share stories and insights from this beautiful photographic and written documentary exploring the small towns of south-west Victoria, including both Casterton and Portland.

Following the railway lines through the Western District, the book captures the history and character of communities like Beeac, Bessiebelle, Digby, Camperdown, Koroit, Merino, Terang, and many others in between.

This is a wonderful opportunity to share in the stories that make our region unique.
